Our GIA VR Experience brings home an impressive trifecta of awards!

We love seeing our hard work pay off and are proud to announce that our Galderma Interactive Anatomy (GIA) VR Experience has officially won three awards! The experience has received a Gold MM+M Award, a Platinum MarCom Award and a Platinum Hermes Creative Award thus far.

Sector 5 Digital, in partnership with Galderma, created the Galderma Interactive Anatomy (GIA) Virtual-Reality (VR) motion-based experience designed to educate the Galderma Aesthetics Injector Network (GAIN) on the foundations of facial anatomy. Trainees were able to better understand where their products should be injected, based on each patient’s natural anatomy, in order to experience the safest and most natural outcomes.

About the MM+M Awards

Our Galderma Interactive Anatomy (GIA) VR experience was named a GOLD winner in the “Use of Immersive Technology” category at the 17th annual MM+M Awards on October 8, 2020! The MM+M Awards recognize and champion both creativity and effectiveness in healthcare marketing and communications, and is the greatest accolade in healthcare marketing.

Having just concluded its 17th year and first virtual ceremony, the MM+M Awards are firmly established as the healthcare communications industry’s highest accolade. They celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency, nonprofit and education teams, and the work they produced during the entry period.

This year’s chair of jury was Carly Baron, VP and GM, U.S. neuroscience at Amgen: “The Medical Marketing + Media Awards are an amazing opportunity to shed light on the great work that healthcare marketers and agencies are doing to innovate, educate and advance human health. As jury chair for this year’s awards, I was truly inspired by the caliber of the entries. The special few who take away the top awards are truly the best of the best and have much to be proud of!”

“2020 presented difficulties to every aspect of the MM+M Awards,” said Steve Madden, editorin-chief of MM+M and VP, GM of Haymarket’s Business Media division. “But our judges and the entire medical marketing community yet again have risen to the occasion. That achievement was seen in full force during the awards ceremony on Thursday.”
